Didn't even pay attention when my 99 Wagon hit 100k last year Bought it on just over 97,000 I think. I'm more depressed about the arches starting to go!

my old oak green 16v golf did 224k on original engine and box

mine rolled over about 2 weeks ago. i made an occasion of it while i was out driving with a friend. we went for an ice cream at the Rinka

i dont think 100k is as big an occasion as it was a few years ago.
most modern day cars go on for well over 100k now.
looks cool watching it flick over though

I keep mine on trip so I can't see it going up, just had a quick check 147,707 and going good.

278k on my corrado 16v many moons ago. Only problem I had was a broken front engine mount. Bloke came all the way from Ireland to buy it when it sold. He flew into gatwick with a mate, picked up a mk2 gti and drove to me, then drove the corrado back to dublin. Wonder if its still alive, lol.

Lol, I'll have to dig out the picture I took of the clocks when I changed from KM to MPH, I think it was around the 80k mark iirc.
