is it worth paying postage on large/ heavy items such as full suspension or an exhaust ? I am trying to sell them local , but no success as yet. They arent new , and not worth much , so to post them to Mainland will cost a fair bit and i'm not sure if it would be counterproductive !

yes guys , i will be posting from Northern Ireland to mainland UK . Though i know they class the highlands with NI , i dont think its the same as posting from England to Scotland.
The Suspension weights loads , and the exhaust is long (just the backbox left)

have a look on www.interparcel.com mate.
To keep costs down you can send the suspension in 2 parcels, usually for under a tenner each. Last 4 shocks/springs I sent in the UK was £16 via ups, weighed 32kg!

I paid £60 for the 2 rear shocks, sun visor's and a front grille, that cost included the parts and shipping from Carlisle to Bangor last December, but I'm not sure what just the shipping would of costed

the shocks with springs weigh alot , can hardly lift them. It looks like i will have to keep them in the shed until someone more local wants them !
