100 miles mineral oil, 500 miles silcolene pro s, drop the oil again another 500 miles silcolene pro s drop the oil again and away you go.

I'd just do the first two steps and then give it WOT for on the second 500, but i used to ride crossers in my younger days, where running in means you just just cane it.

Or you could give it 50 miles mineral then 1000 silcolene and just drive it like you stole it after that.

Important thing is to put the engine under various load conditions and not let it sit ticking over for long periods to avoid glazing the bores.

But if it's going to break it will do it in the first thousand or two so you might as well find out sooner rather than later.

In my experience cars that get caned from the off seem to be quicker and have no problems, that's if they last beyond the inital spanking.
