sold my scooby
Hi all, after owning a Scooby for over 5.5 years I now own a vectra diesel 1.9 cdti 07 plate 150 bhp and altho its a great car in many ways I miss the thrill of my Scooby ! I bought it off my dad who had it from new.I just thought that I was rushing into buying another so bought the vectra and saved what's left till I have enough to buy the right Scooby and it can be kept mint as ill use the soot machine for the kids and holidays.ill save about £40 a week too on fuel so I can save now till after Xmas to get a nice 55 plate widetrack sti. I'll be back !!!!! Carl.

I also have a vectra cdti 150 mate, although It is very economical, spacious etc They are problem cars (well for me anyway)
I have replaced dual mass clutch flywheel, inlet manifold as inlet swirls were leaking, EGR, injector seals
Apart from these bits its a pleasure to drive

To zac scooby,I have read about all the faults mate and agree it could be a problem but,its from my dad who had the dual mass clutch and fly done under warranty.it had ecu light when I bought it and it was a seized valve in egr.freed it up and 300 miles later it seems ok,the ecu light hasnt returned.its one of them really,it could go ok or it could go fits up !

It won't go near Vauxhall main stealers buddy, its done 105 k miles but 95% of that is motorway miles as he's a mortgage advisor its just been up and down motorway so I'm hoping the dpf has regenerated regulary,he said its never been any trouble so would think it would have reared it ugly head by now.
I am on the vec - c forum already but response is slow on there but seems like there all ok guys.I just don't get as interested in it as I do on scoobynet !
Zac Scooby - do the 07 saloons all have dpf ? Can't find answer on vec c forum.? Thanks Carl.
