Hi has anyone done this before as my sti clears have plastic inbetween the lamp and reflector tried everything to try and get them out but removal is my last option!

AFAIK, you can't split thelight units.

I'm not sure from your post above what exactly you want to do, and why.

 

Why ?

 

The drivers side has loads of swarf plastic bits in between the unit and lense so looks rubbish

 

Where are they from?

TBH, you can't split them, try removing and upending it and shaking them out?

 

He's got them removed as not actually fitted them yet. He's blown them, sucked them, washed them out But these small shards of plastic won't come out

It's where the previous owner has drilled them to accommodate the fog light

 

Prodriverules is going to attempt to split a standard lense so finger crossed he will be the man!
