One of my mates used them and it didn't go well!

Have a search and see what you can find, it's well worth spending the time doing your homework because there are plenty of good and bad engine builders and the stories that go with them.

Heard good and bad. I used them to buy parts but had no work done by them on my car. I would say if you look at any tuning establishment you will get good and bad, when it goes wrong the thing that is important is the attitude towards fixing it. I agree though I know more people that have left the clinic smiling than sulking.

I'm doing my home work before spending the cash, I work in a workshop and understand whats involved with customers hence why i want somebody local that has a good rep.

I've heard lots on the clinic but just wondered on Area 52, i think i've made my mind up now since a PM has been sent to me.

Cheers

Personally I've not heard a bad word about scoobyclinic or Roger Clark motorsport but you get mixed views on pretty much every tuner.

As said it's how a company will back you up when or if things go wrong! I spent ££££'s on a company building me a forged engine and I also had the mapping at the same place to keep it all under 1 roof and also if things did go wrong the builder couldt blame the mapper or vise versa, it failed 2000 miles later they didt want to no
So just be very very carful who you choose.

Scooby Clinic are good if you want everything in one place. If you want a great engine builder contact Paul Finch, he is probably the best in the country. Above all don't use anyone who does not have a good rep on here.

Very true, we all have our favourites, but I don't think many people on here would recommend Area 52.

I havn't seen him for a number of years so only what I was told at the time. It should be a mater of public record somewhere.

I'm very sorry you felt like this, we are very busy at the moment with race season in full swing, If we gave you the wrong impression I must apologize but I will say we are busy for all the right reasons

Having had bad experiences at other places and feeling like all that mattered was my cash, I can't speak highly enough of Scooby Clinic-both Ads and Kev have looked after me and my mistakes so well-yes always busy up there but that's because so many people trust them. I've also heard very good reports via mid scoob members bout carnetix so I think your in good hands. Are you having anything else added into the mix for the build?
