cheap power
Hi guys
Im after getting more power out of a standard my00 uk turbo but i am on a tight budget. i have a full decat to go on it but what else can i do?
i dont want huge bhp around the 280-300 mark would be nice
can my ecu be mapped or will i need a different one?
do i need bigger turbo or will mine surfice?
fmic or again will mine be capable of the sort of power i want?
any and all help would be appreciated guys

No such thing as cheap power, its correct mods or incorrect mods, correct mods keep your engine safe, incorrect mods cost you a fortune.
So, budget wise, if you dont have the cash then dont modify, its simple.
At your stage, you can get around 270bhp, you need an uprated (good) fuel pump, look at doing something with the brakes and a remap (basic brake upgrade is discs, pads, braided hoses), remap is around £650 quid for your car, then budget for a hike in your insurance (quite alot of people forget about that increase), so 1k should cover most of it id say.
