ive had my impreza classic about 3 years now and the engine has always had a lot of movement which shakes the car a bit, but now ive always got the warning cel light on giving the fault code 22 for knock sensor. 1st i thought ill just change the sensor but then i thought could it be one of or all the engine mounts being old so causing the engine to shake and would that register as know to the sensor?

 

Possable, do the mounts first and see

 

How did you get on with changing the engine mounts? Did it cure your Knock CEL?
