Picking up 1st impreza tomorrow!
Hi
After much searching, viewing cars my husband won me an impreza on eBay last minute!
It's a 2006 56 WRX hawk eye in blue with fsh, sti spoiler, 38k miles!, the add says it has 270bhp out the factory. ?! Which i thought only the gb version came with that, but its definately not one of those. Also factory fitted are heated leather seats, climate control and a sunroof, smoked out rear lights, rally stickers.
The car has been fitted with an Exceedy Stage 1 clutch, a high pressure dump valve and a sports catalyst. Clutch was fitted last week, exhaust fitted January 2012.
With all this in mind I'm wondering what you guys think it's worth. It's blue but has the full rally sticker set on at the moment, which is not my cup of tea at all...so first job is to remove all these.....any advice on this appreciated.
Thanks
From a Very excited Carla

Hi welcome to the world of flat 4 and must admit cringed when you said you brought a car off fleabay. Apart from expensive road tax you have a very tunable car to have fun in and as for the cost of the car its worth what you want to pay for it.

Got another lined up tomorrow to view again hawk eye 06 , the guy was advertising on piston heads so with eBay out of the picture it may be a better experience!
Seens graham walkers, but nothing in stock suitable ATM and they are pricey there....

Woooop soo pleased!
Went for my car today and it's lovely!
Actually purchased it from a guy off here, but I didn't catch his member name - he's part of the east midlands forum
I'm now a proud owner of a 2006 hawk eye wrx

Oh I'm loving it, but I do have a couple of concerns with the car....since driving it 80 ish miles home, I've found the back end is clicking quite a lot when slowly moving. Im planning on taking it to the local garage this week to get it checked over....this fault didn't show in the test drive so. Hope it's nothing serious...
I have read before that rear shocks can be an issue..... But will wait and see what the garage says...

Firstly congratulations on NOT buying from Graham Walkers, after sales service is non existant.
Welcome
