Question

How come every manufacturer suddenly starts making fast cars again?
Such as

300bhp 4wd turbo cosworth focus
230bhp turbo rs focus
235bhp V6 RSI 4wd Golf

The new Rover MGs with 300bhp etc

Will the scoob be just a normal car or shadowed by these new competition?

They definately raised the stakes, the japanese cars are limited to 280bhp by law does this mean the end? and return of the cossy?

They'll have to go some to outhandle a scoob though.......you can have all the BHP u want but if the mix aint right you aint got a winner ! I've had a few tasty cars over the last few months with loads more BHP but none have felt as safe and surefooted as the scoob..........u only have to see Stef on trak against mighty RS500 cossies with 450BHP on tap to see the difference !

logix, I'd be suprised if these cars actually have the power that some mags speculate that they'll have(to up their circulation numbers).Just my humble opinion. Deep.

Does anyone actually think that the scoob MY01 sti or not would not be up to the challenge of a Ford or a golf?

A case in point is the long awaited V6 clio, did it end up as the car that it had been touted as for how many years now, not even close.

For now I'll happily stick to the scoob, when its time to change, I'll not be buying a ford or golf. Maybe an Evo but most likely is one of those damn ugly new models.
