Smile How quick is a 350hp classic?

Just a wee but of feedback wanted really. I'm thinking of going to 350 on my classic and would be nice to hear from people's experience of how quick they feel And compare to other cars and any 1/4 times would be interesting too.

Cheers
Dave

Im running 330, its plenty enough to put a smile on my face. Not to much power to control easily being that i use it everyday.

not always true, loads of factors involved in how quick it is not just bhp.

**** generally spouted by idiots like hamster that have no experience of both cars.
yes the classic is lighter but the newage has different gear ratios and six speed box

If you are already at 330bhp, will you notice another 20?

And it would undoubtedly be cheaper shedding weight to get the same performance.

Lol at the newage v's classic yet again.

My type r was at 330 for a while with 18's and it's a better drive at 300 with 16's, but i don't see them as a speedy type car, more of a tail out fun toy, and with the short ratio gearbox and dccd it's more about balance and control than speed for me, in fact i prefer to keep the speed down, especialy on the road.

If i want to scare myself with speed i just buy a big sports bike and do some track days, much cheaper than modding a scoob to do something it's not really designed for.

It was road mapped just before we took it to pod but we weren't too sure of actual figures at the time. Put it on the rollers 2 days ago where it started off at 330 and Simon (JGM) got it up to 350bhp/380lb ft. (Im probably going to get this bit wrong so forgive me) but it was mapped without the map sensor as we didnt have the correct bit with us to fit it, apparently with it it could of made nearer 400, but as it goes it is quick enough for me at the moment so i may leave it be, plus im still running 5 speed. Hope this makes sense!
