Default classic turbo 2000 dampers

Hi I think my dampers are a bit shot. Its a classic turbo 2000 on a x reg. It now sounds like it cluncks and grinds on bumpy roads and a bit sloopy on the corners. Can you get these re-cond or is it just as cheap to get new ones also how much would you expect to pay??

No point in reconditioning them imho, as the price you pay you can get some decent 2nd hand sti units. The std uk shocks arent much cop anyway and if you upgrade to some decent sti units like in the picture below: 1. It will sharpen up your handling and make the car more firmer. 2. if one should start to leak you can send it off to Bilstein to get it overhauled.

Expect to pay anything from £160 - £250 depending on spec, springs, adjustable, etc
