Default DCCD and Tractions Steer me

Not really messed with this much in the 2011 apart from using + when its snowing to stop backend kicking out.

but the Traction button, whats the deal

I see normal mode
Traction
and Off i presume.

am i right and whats traction do, not throttle the tourque as much ?
What do you all use

Sorry for the Noob question only had the car 18 Months but im a business man LOL so rarely fiddle Only with myself

Traction brings the brakes in to stop individual wheels slipping. There are some videos on the YouTube Subaru channel showing the effect.
