Default Bugeye Fog Cover Brackets

I've done a search and cant find anything. Can anyone measure up the bugeye fog cover brackets so I can knock a set up? Alternatively, is there anywhere I can get hold of these?

For what its worth, i used double sided numberplate tape instead of using brackets for a cleaner look. They have been on 2 years now and still stuck fast.

Where did you tape them? I cant really think where I could fix it. Sounds like a good idea though.

I put the tape along the inside edge of the cover so it is hidden from view but does make a good solid contact with the bumper walls.

Old pic (grille, scoop changed but you get the idea), no unsightly bolts and with the fogs on at night there is 0% light leakage..

That looks ok, doesnt it!! I have the local dealer ringing me back about bracket prices, but I doubt they will come in as cheap as a roll of numberplate tape!

Cheers for that.

i had a similar problem with the meshed covers the bolt and backets rusted

i filled and painted bolt hole then fitted, theres a small tab at the top that locates
into the bumper the bottom was held in place with a thin bead of clear silicone. worked a treat

BTW they are for sale if anyones interested
