Version II (09/94 – 08/96) - GC8CThe regular STi's engine output stood at 275 PS (202 kW; 271 bhp) and 32.5 kgf·m (319 N·m, 235 ft·lbs) of torque. This was the year that STi started painting the intake manifold red. The car weighed 1,240 kg (2,734 lb) and had gold wheels like those on the World Rally Championship Impreza.

V2 STI should have red inlet so I'm sure the STI RA should too.

The red crackle finish paint is prone to peeling off though which has probably happend. My old V2 lost nearly all it's red paint, only leaving a small amount in the little gaps etc.

Strange that they gave the STI one and not the STI RA though isn't it.

Confusion here caused by calling a WRX STI Type-RA, an 'RA'. Impreza WRX, Impreza WRX Type-RA and Impreza WRX STI Type-RA.

People also overlook that the WRX Type-RA was the cheapest car in the range, unlike the WRX STI Type-RA.
