The best oil I would recommend based on experience would be Millers CFS 10w 40 for the engine and CRX 75w 90nt for box and diff. Do not use engine flush just get the fluids nice and warm and (carefully) drain and replace. Welcome back by the way.

PS unless you're tracking the car you don't need an oil cooler at your level of power. Is it a thermostatic one?

The problem with oil coolers on road cars is the oil is never hot enough to warrant a cooler. Running with an oil cooler when not needed will not allow the oil to get up to a nice healthy running temperature. What oil temps are you seeing on the road?

Neil is a great Subaru specialist,

http://www.slowboy-racing.co.uk/

My car's ruuning similar power to yours and on my last service, I used Millers CFS 10W50 engine oil and Millers CRX NT 75W90 gear/diff oil.

I had an Evo 4 for about 2 years then I switched to motorbikes for a while. Evo had loads of work done in Japan before I got my hands on it. Bhp was a healthy 310.
We should meet up at some point for a photoshoot of both scoobies.
