first would just like to say a big hi to everyone

ok being new to the imprza i have been offered a tommy kaira wagon (m20b) i think

m plate import that has been well looked after engine wise
body is ok not really bad
now he wants 1500.00 for the car but as i dont really know much about them i was hoping someone could give me a little info on them been told that there is not a lot of them around and goggled it but no real info
i really hope someone can help and many thx again will try and get some pics to up load thx mick

 

The TK wagons are rare buddy and I personally think they look better than its saloon brother. Still not a very desired car though as their looks do not appeal to many.
£1500 seems a fair price depending on its overall condition, miles covered, spec and history.
It's an old car now so be sure to have a thorough look over it. Rear arches especially as these are the normal rust area, also not a cheap job to fix properly. Make sure it's been serviced regulary and that the engine sounds as it should.
How many miles has it covered ?

Remember, there are literally thousands of imprezas out there for sale now so if it isn't right, move on.

 

tk as the best front bumper ever rare as rockin horse **** aps i have one my scooby but as the above said if it not rust free and looks and sound ropey then move on dude but if it is clean and sounds then by as it is a rare beasty

 

They are rare (400 made I think) but as I said earlier, not very desirable. The looks are not to many people taste.

Be sure it's a proper TK car as some people just stuck the bumpers on and claimed they had a TK. The dials should be orange, TK intercooler, badge on rear and plaque in engine bay. Should also have a TK badge on the steering wheel I think.

 

i must admit the rear spoliers and rear bumper of the tk sallon was nasty but come the frotn bumper is the nuts

 

many thx guys but just got an insurance quote they want 1400.00 and im 42 ish so no way im looking at a 98 r reg 1200.00 full test 92k uk car think im going to go for that one £456.00 yr full comp

A-Plan insurance are very good with Subaru quotes , really worth giving them a try.

kk thx guys went with tesco 505 yr full comp (you get £50.00) discount if you us ur club card and they do a tesco basic (everything but wind screen cover) for 465 yr full comp so well happy

for got to say didnt go for the tommy kaira got a 98 wrx wagon in 792 silver (best colour) i think running 300 bhp (so he says ) will get pics in morn going to glossop for it

ok guys really crap day today went to get my car what aload of crap really nice body but to say it was 300bhp it pulled like a cortina no boost what sooo ever
needed a new windscreen seller said it was cracked 1 to 2 inch try 6
all the tyres where bald and the front bumper was held on with cable ties
ok it was only £970 .00 i only got £1100 and now im not going to get something really good but some people just try and take the p?ss

so i said no driving home in my mates mk 4 golf tdi what happens the turbo goes
so spent most of my birthday sat on the m62 great times
so im still looking for a wagon

 

Hate to say it buddy but for circa £1000 your not gonna get a great car. Maybe worth thinking about holding back for a while and saving a few more £££

Wow thats alot but i suppose the cars rare for the Insurance, I only pay 700 for my 2011 STI and im Farsley.

 

lol your not that far away mate got myself a blue 98 turbo wagon today 12mths mot taxed £1150.00 + my impreza sportand it drivers really nice (and they are really fast )
so will have to keep an eye open for you
2011 its not the black prodrive ive seen in pudsey like everyday if it is its sooo nice
