Believe it's 99 Ron. I did think of bp ultimate, but that's only 97 Ron . So can I put the tesco 99 in and have no worrys about it doing damage.

Dan
Yes, you'll be fine.

Don't use BP
Tesco Momentum is fine. In fact, I find it every bit as good as V-Power and my car was mapped on the Shell. No more or even less activity on the KS3 knock meter.

Momentum is good, run my GTB on it all the time -(JDM mapped for 102 RON)

The bonus is with the amount I get through, I'll have enough tesco points to buy my own oil well soon.......

Will there be any adverse effects for a car that is mapped on V-Power?
I'm starting to get desperate now.

Mine was mapped in T99 (before it was rebranded) and it runs equally fine on both that and v-power Dan

Where'd you get the Momentum? The Tesco towards Bushey? I'm sure that I won't need any for a while, but it's always nice to have a back up plan!

You need to head into Watford, the one in Bushey is a Tesco shop but sells esso fuel, and has been out of fuel for over a week now anyway

Only a few garages sell that tesco 99 stuff. I have never seen it in my area.
Is there anywhere I can find out which tesco stores sell it ?

There was a scientific test in a performance car mag i read a short while ago about performance fuels and Tesco 99 came out on top, marginally better than V Power. And Both were far better than BP Ultimate too which I have never used personally.

Have always switched between T99 and V-Power in all my tuned cars personally and had no problems at all

Like I said on another thread, I`m probably gonna start using Momentum instead of v power now after the way they`ve treated regular customers

I know my 2 local extra stores have it and it doesn't list the places that don't so it should be accurate - and remember 1 clubcard point for every £2 so 1/3 penny a litre saved

March Tesco sells it and has done since the garage has been there. That's what I use

Wisbech sells it and so does Tesco in Serpentine Green

What the 99 stuff though ?
I knew they sold the normal momentum but the posh stuff says 99 on the handle and the ones at March don't. I even asked the chap there once and he said no it wasn't the 99 but only the 97 momentum that the garage had.

Unless they stock it now ofcourse. I'll go down for a closer look tomorrow..
Not that I'll ever use it if shell is topped up but handy to know incase of ermergency.

Tesco 99 was rebranded a couple of years back to momentum - Tesco doesn't do a 97 RON option

Oh I see, either they sold 97 Ron fuel when I asked or the chap had been sniffing the petrol and was off his nut.
So any 'momentum' is now 99 Ron then ?

The guy's clearly been at the pumps - Momentum has always been 99 and Tesco 99 before it, long time since Tescos did normal super
