Default Does anyone recognise this type R part 2

As one of my friends is looking for a type R I posted a link to a car the other day that turned out not to be suitable so does anyone know this one?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2842657.htm

It looks like it could be a good car and I think we're planning on viewing it on Friday but hasn't else seen it and know anything about it?

Thanks,

Paul

It's from Hurst cars.

The guy is sound mate and sold quite a few imprezas to members on here, me being one. He also frequents this site now and again.

No idea yet and I've asked him to ask the seller and see what ecu is in there. It looks great though! I think that as soon as he drives a type R he'll be in love because they are the nuts in my opinion.

I'm sure it was to do with the DCCD too which is why Prodrive removed the DCCD from the P1 in favour of ABS. I can't remember if the P1 gets water spray

Something else Prodrive robbed off the car I love the P1 but sadly it was a compromise for the UK market.

Yes Craig, all your help is appreciated and soon I will be a Type R owner, with no big bills to cough up for in the near future other than the purchase of the Type R itself... I'm sure you lot will point me in the right directing...

Taking note of ABS question going on right now...

The type R is a very focused car and it's meant for people that can drive The P1/Type R debate will rage forever but I sit in the type R camp on this one. In all honesty any 2 door impreza is the nuts

The P1 was the better looking car but technically the type R was better. Another one of my friends AndyC772 has a stunning P1 with the 18" wheel option and Alcons and it's stunning but if I had a choice of which one to drive with the 2 sat side by side I'd chose the type R. Another friend of mine has a yellow type R track car and I love driving that.

I don't know why I didn't buy one to be honest, I keep thinking of replacing the M3 with a type R and running it at about 350bhp as a daily.

Didn't the WRX type R get ABS instead of DCCD ?
