Anti-Roll Bar Lock

Anti-Roll Bar Lock
I've fitted a 24mm rear ARB to my 2006 STI and am very pleased with it.
However, I've noticed that it slides around alot in it's mounts.
I know you can get lock out rings to keep it in place, does anyone use these? Are they supposed to help?

I thought i needed the same but on a closer inspection it turned out that the ends of the bar wernt lining up very well with the mounting points for the drop links so whenever i cornered the loading on the one side was trying to move the bar sideways rather than getting it to twist as it should.
Once i removed the bar it was obvious that it was bent on the right hand side which was causing the issue. Might be worth having a look underneath yours. I'll have a look and see if i still have the pics I took of mine clearly showing the issue.

Heres the Nearside:
and the Offside:
Note how the link is almost vertical on the nearside but at a sharp angle on the offside - whenever there is any loading on that side the link tried to move the bar sideways.
