Default HELP

Hi

Just drove my scoob after it been sat for three days and after about 10 mins i start to smell burning, i turned around went back home and the smoke was coming from the bonnet and there was quite alot.

I turned her off popped the bonnet and it was coming from underneath the turbo like oil burning off the down pipe.

I won't be able to look until the weekend due to work are but there any pipes underneath the turbo??? all the pipework on the top seems fine i.e no leaking oil...

Help please

Thanks

how good are you with spanners, rocker gaskets are more awkward then difficult.

removing turbo is easy, with correct tools and know how.

as above, sounds like the drivers side rocker gasket leaking onto the exhaust.

Carnetix quote around £50 for parts plus an hours labour per side approx.
