Yes, optional extra from main dealers, pretty simple to fit and are supplied with, lamps, surrounds and a new lamp stalk, about £230 IIRC.

Was going to say, they are, AFAIK, NOT driving lights, but foglights.
they are useless as driving lights and illegal to use except in fog or falling sbnow

I.e, unless the visibility is less than 100 metres. But no Scooby driver would be so inconsiderate as to leave their fog lights on when they weren't needed, now would they?!

If only!!

....and a flash from me (to let them know I am there) to help them realise that their "cool" look just shows how dumb they are.

It's about time the manufacturers wired the fog light switch through a relay so you needed to switch them on every time you turned on the ignition. That would solve some of the issues.

If they're driving a hatch the foglights are not needed to confirm that

back when I'd just had my classic..(before the world and his wife had a Impreza) Xmas of 1999.. driving my G/friend (at that time) home Xmas night 2am in the morning... nothing on the road... had fog lights on cus I was only 25 and thought was was well kooool, as seen other with these on.
I got stopped by the only other car on the road... a Panda car... arsey copper... try to say I was speeding.. couldn't prove that as he was so far away from em when i forst saw him in my rear view.. I'd slowed down well by the time he's caught up with me.. only thing he could do me on was fog lights.. £30 fine at the time... pluss hassel of taking documents to police station.

Lesson learnt... never had them on since.. unles well foggy or bad snow coming down.

On this occasion, I fully agree with him.

Designed by a forum made up of the Blunkett school of design, and out of work Rover 25 designers..........

Still think my Classic WRX was superior as an every day performance car than my Spec D.

Having said that, after nearly 5 years, I have nearly got my New Age to my liking.
