So there I was, trying to get from A to B in suburbia in my nice newly purchased subby, stuck behind a large 4wd doing the legal 50km/hr. Up comes a 1970's 5 litre orange-painted Chrysler Valiant which sits right on my rear.
The road widens - to overtake the 4wd or not?
Well, we're doing 50kms so probably not. The Chrysler shows no hesitation and roars past me and the 4wd with a throbbing V8 roar.
500 yards down the road we overtake it; it's parked up by the side of the road just in front of a mufti cop car.
This happened while out driving this morning - and in my 25 years of motoring its never happened before.
Is this one of the hidden benefits of owning a scooby?
