Model Type Not On Logbook....
Hi chaps,
Been looking around at a few STI Imprezas lately....V3 and V4's.
However, The V5 states "Subaru" and thats it, no model type on a one I recently viewed. I've check the VIN number "GC8D4ED" along with the engine and transmission type codes...all saying the car is genuine.
Is this something to worry about or is it common on some Subaru imports?
Cheers.

I had this problem with my JDM Legacy and seeing as the local DVLA office is only a few hundred yards up the road I went to see if I could get it changed.
The answer they gave me was that they have to choose from a list of cars supplied my the manufacture, and Subaru only list UK-spec cars. Not a DVLA **** up, just the fact that it's an import.
