What MY did the UK Turbo get 4 Pots?
The seller of a MY2000 WR Sport that I am looking at says that it has a brake upgrade.
When questioned (expecting Alcons) he said that it has 4 Pots rather than sliding callipers??
I thought all UK Turbos had 4 Pots from MY99??

I had a MY99 UK turbo (from new) - it had 4 pots as std. I think it was '99 that UK cars came with them as std. Never, ever heard of a WR coming without them.

correct, MY99/00.
Sounds like a blagger to me. Is it the WR Sport thats been on ebay for about 3 months and posted on here numerous times? Blue with WR addons for a rediculous asking price?

Interesting when you view his purchase history.
-Closed deck block
-Coilovers
-Fuel rail
-Injectors
Hmmmm.....?

On the face of it it looks like a decent car with low miles. buy it now prices seems a little high i would have thought 3250-3500 would be about right

The low miles and originality is what I'm interested in. Not looking for one to mod or one that has been modified. Very rare to find there days.

I had a new MY00 and from what I can remember Prodrive did an uprated disc and pad kit. Just done a quick search :-
"Prodrive disc upgrade - Subaru part no SACC2470 and pad upgrade (Ferrodo DS2000) Subaru part no SACC2471. £500 fitted inc VAT"
Even if it had the upgrade the original pads and discs will have since been replaced (I hope!)

OP
The Alcons were also 4 pots and were a favoured option on the WR versions so worth determining if it has them. They have PRODRIVE rather than SUBARU on them.
Awesome set of brakes. Proper eye candy imo.

My 2 pot calipers are absolute crap, coming from a lightweight Saxo VTS with Brembo four pots on the front and 285mm vented discs the scoob feels like it takes forever to slow down. If I were to fit subaru four pots to mine would I need to fit a bigger master cylinder?
