Mines a classic but suppose the same rules apply.
Removed all clips,
Stuck them In the oven for 5 mins,
Seperated the glass from the back,
Removed inner plastic,
Rubbed it over with a bit of wet and dry,
Two coats of grey primer, (rattle can)
Three coats of matt black, (rattle can)
Refit plastics into light unit,
Place glass back onto light unit,
Back in the oven for 5 mins,
Press firmly together,
Refit metal clips,
Allow to cool and fit to car.
Job done.

Done mine with plastic primer, satin black. I used a washing up pot scrubber thing to rub the part you are painting to make sure the paint stuck.
Then just reheated and they sealed back up with the original sealant. Job done.

Scotch-brite is the stuff (or brillo pads) and you can get it from any decent motor factors, even halfrauds sell it, much easier to use than a wet and dry in my opinion, especially for a smaller job like this
