alarm keypad?

Default alarm keypad?

hi guys recently bought an 07 sti and it has a keypad in the compartment to the right below the steering wheel. i have no idea what its for, just searched and found something about satellite tracking?

is this standard? any idea what it does or how i use it?

It's for the alarm so you can cancel the immobiliser etc when/if the ketfob fails.You can also change the settings for the system using the keypad, code keys, auto lock the doors, etc.....

You should have a 4 pin code with your vehicle doc's. You type that in to de-activate alarm/immobiliser.
