Hi, i have a Subaru Imprerza 1995 spec, how can I tell of this has been mapped in the past? I am interested in getting this done, but need to find out if it has been mapped in the past. Thanks everyone!

You will have to ask for the paperwork from the previous owner.

If you can't get that info it'd be best to assume that it hasn't been mapped.

How do I check that - sorry I'm hopeless! I meant to say, this has a HKS Electronic Valve controller and a HKS turbo timer and a Blitz Turbo boost gauge. Thanks, Sarah.

Locate the ECU under the metal plate in the passenger footwell.

There are 3 bolts with a 10mm head and a nut with a 10mm head holding the plate down. Remove that plate and see what label is on the ECU If it's a Subaru ECU you need to remove the ECU and unscrew the lid, if you go that far I'll show you were a chip would sit
