impreza wrx ppp advice

Default impreza wrx ppp advice

does the wrx ppp impreza have the same gearbox,internals,turbo and clutch as the wrx sti.

nope....its exactly the same as a normal wrx, just with a performance pack including a remapped ecu, different backbox and centre decat, and a silicone intercooler pipe.

what is the difference between uk wrx ppp and uk sti ppp.
gearbox/turbo/clutch.

sti has a 6 speed gearbox that i know off.
others will be along to advise other differences.
the sti is indeed a different beast though.

PPP is the same on both but with the STI you obviously get the uprated parts and 6 speed gearbox

PPP are just performance packs - on the STi its has a remapped ecu again, and probably a few other minor things - nothing major like your suggesting though.

An STi has different engine internals, gearbox, turbo, injectors, ecu compared to the WRX...but they dont have anything to do with whether it has the prodrive pack fitted.

FYI, i believe the prodrive packs effect the BHP figures to something like:

WRX - 225bhp to 263bhp
STi - 265bhp - 301 bhp

something around that.

yeh, along with additional bodykit interior etc was just trying to cover the engine performance differences in relation to the op

Lol my 2004 wrx ppp what disappointment. Garage said been on dyno and running 260ish. Only ran 230 when I had it done.

Same here ppp is crap buy standard and get a remap

I disagree when I bought my wrx ppp it was 260 on the dyno so was quite happy. PS its alot more now though
