Default PLX gauges and iphone

does anyone have any experience with PLX gauges??
they seem to do some pretty cool stuff. i'm surprised defi didn't do something like this.
the plx seem reasonable and fully customisable or display on your phone/ipad/screen.

the uk site is:
plxdevices.co.uk

may consider one.....need an oil pressure gauge!
any thoughts???

Gauges look cool but the sensor module prices are a bit steep.

What i know PLX gauges are mostly popular at USA and PLX AFR/wideband sensors gauges are supported many programs like RomRaider.

Only Syvecs at launch I'm afraid.

Simtek don't seem interested in providing me with the necessary information but an OBDII version for oem ecus *will* be available early next year

how early next year?
they seem very versatile.....would you need to purchase different sensors for your needs? and a syvecs!
seems far too detailed and well above any info i'd need.
i think the screen looks a bit chunky too.... hence the small plx multigauge or even a bluetooth/wifi link to an iphone/ipad.
i'll keep checking out the website.....interesting to see how it develops...

Best estimate is late Feb/early March for the OBD-II version

The unit is only 100x83x16mm - the size of a small SatNav: I think it's small and perfectly formed, but then I'm biased It's machined out of solid billet aluminium, finished in a "soft-touch" paint finish, so feels classy as well...oh, I already said I'm biased didn't I

Seriously though: on a Syvecs it takes data from any sensors connected to the ecu. Sensors *not* fitted as standard are fuel pressure, oil temp and oil pressure, but pretty much everything else is available. And those extra sensors are also easy to connect too (and, yes, we can supply them).

On OBD-II you will be limited to the stock sensors. But, that said, I will also be introducing a sensor expansion unit to allow oil temp and pressure sensors (for example) to be directly connected to the display

Oil pressure sensors are around £50, a little more if you want plug-and-play wiring supplied with it

Thanks matey! Looks much smaller now! Its just a bit bigger than an aftermarket parrot. Is it poss to run the software onto a double din audio system display screen? I've got the same as you at the moment but just thinking ahead a little. Would keep the centre console/dash tidier too.

No, I'm afraid not - it's a standalone device.
