Deatschwerks 300lph

HRC 340LPH(i'm running this)

Bosch 044

the best one is the one most suited to your engine spec mate - and adequatley fuel it.

really depends on your set up

generally a walbro is seen as the first step up over standard - and not hard to fit

Its not about which ones better, more of a case of which ones more reliable when delivering fuel to a higher bhp engine. My mapper has noticed the walbro pump wavers the fuel flow a bit at higher rpm on engines running more than standard power (not good when you want consistent fuel flow). The rcm pump I have been told delivers the consistent flow of fuel as needed, but then it all depends on what your car needs at the time.

But that is what I have been told.

I have spoke to Bob Rawle and he said he has had quite a few problems with the Walbros lately and he recommended a RCM V5+ for me and i am not looking for any massive numbers, looking to be knocking on the door of 350bhp.

Walbro's have never been the best, always preferred the bosch 044, as they say you pay for what you get, its cheap for a reason

I've just changed my walbro for a sytec because it was starting to run lean at the top end where it couldn't flow enough fuel for the injectors Good job it happened whilst mapping and the mapper noticed the pump failing before it scrapped the engine!

I think you will find that the RCM fuel pumps are made by Aeromotive, I was warned by a well known mapper not to bother with Walbro due to the amount of failures and inconsistent results.

You pay your money and you take your choice.

As i post before i'm running HRC 340lph and bhp wise(plus i'm running Bosch 044 ext),i'm hopping for 500bhp...

Aeromotive cost in USA around 160USD,Deatschwerks 300lph cost here around £100(in USA cost 100USD)

Reading threads like this makes me want to replace my Walbro with something else.
Where would be the best place to purchase a fuel pump other than Walbro and RCM.
