Default Running turbo boost pipe under manifold - rotated setup

Just wandered how many people run the boost pipe underneath the inlet manifold as opposed to over it on a rotated setup?

Only reason I ask is this is how i've set mibe up but good god the manifold gets hot and i'm only on run in! I've got thermal manifold spacers too to aid in keeping it cooler but this boost pipe reallt does heat it up

Anyone else experienced this or even switched the path of the boost pipe to prevent hot manifold and possibly det?

Here's what i mean:

Dude, have a look at my setup. It runs under the filter. I'm only on run in too and I'm staggered at how cool all of my engine components are.

I've seen yours Frayz and it looks awesone. Didn't you weld up a bend on the turbo too iirc?

Do the ABS pump and pipes not pose a problem getting in the way?

Yes I welded an elbow to the turbo. But I believe RCM do a complete silicone pipe that comes from the turbo towards the wing/abs area. I cut a hole behind the abs pump down into the wing area and ran the pipe down there. Yeah its snug getting a pipe in there but not impossible. My pipe is 63mm from memory and went in without too much issue.

Food for thought maybe?
