Default Collected My First Scooby On Sat!

Hi all, as you may have seen in my introduction post, i was going to look at/ buy my first Impreza this weekend.

Well, i bought it!
Such a nice car, drives perfectly, goes really well.
There are a few little bits and bobs that i will have to get done etc.
There is a nocking from the rear passenger side arch, the rad squeeks on the brackets, the rear light is craked and there is a car park dent in the drivers door.

But for my first one im over the moon with it.
2000 (W Plate) Impreza Turbo 2000 with the Prodrive pack installed.
Exeedy stage 1 clutch.
Short shift kit with long reach 5th gear.
Bailys BOV
and some other bits that i have forgotten already.

Anyway i'll let the pictures do the talking.
Thanks for looking.
James.

Its not that low now, its on "Cusco" coilovers, its now about 35-40mm drop.

As for the 5th, im only going on what i have been told when i bought it. Again, very new to Scooby's but i am determined to learn fast.

Looking out for a nice looking splitter and a bigger spoiler if anyone has anything for sale (cheap)

All uk turbo 2000's have the longer 5th compared to the jap ones.
Looks nice and clean though and STI rear lights always look that much better than the UK ones

Ah right, i learn something everyday then.
Have a few plans for it, including a fresh lick of paint on the wheels and some other little extra's.

Im a big fan of the rear lights, but was not aware on how expencive they are!
The drivers side has a crack in it, thinking it woul dbe like £30-40 for one.....oh how wrong i was! (think ill leave it cracked for now)

cheers for the nice comments tho guys.

Cheers for the comments, there is a couple small dents (can be seen in the third pic) but they can be sorted in the body shop this week.

nice to see another facelift classic, Are you going to colour code the skirts and spats?

What did you pay for it? My mate bought a V reg with 77k on the clock, 17" alloys, exhaust and filter etc for £1500 with decent mot/tax

I swapped it for my 306 rallye and abit of cash for the Rallye.

So far im in love with the car. Just need to get used to driving it, only ever had small hot hatches before.

The car is def not that low anymore, its now only on a 40mm ish drop. Im used to having very stupidly low cars, but i have been told that if you deck a scooby like that it ruins the handling, so it had to come up.
cheers.
