Default Flywheel Machining ??

Hi Guys
Can someone shed light on flywheel machining pros/cons?

I work with cnc machines and wondered if it were possible to drill a certain amount of holes in a circular pattern to lighten a standard V5 sti flywheel
Has anyone done this or used a lathe to machine some weight off instead?
This issue raises a few questions of the balance of the flywheel after lathe turning, where as drilling leaves the original size , only removing excess weight via holes
Finally does anyone have a lightened flywheel, that can measure hole diameters and pcd of holes plus the number of holes ,so I can atleast program a cnc machine and test one to see if it works.
Thanks in advance
Neil

Thanks mate,
Counted 24 larger holes , just need a diameter of hole and pcd of these holes
Didn't want to hijack his 'for sale' thread ! Lol

Hmmm interesting , but surely slotted holes need to be equal from centre of flywheel and equally spaced or I would have thought it would cause balance issues
Has anyone on here done that or am I the first ! Lol
