absolute joke!

my scoooby has been in a garage in bedfordshire for around 1 1/2 months, the guy was supposed to be doing the 2 rear quarter and the side door, i went down last thursday and he said the car will be primed on sat andpainted sunday, bare inmind this is after him slowly doing it for about a month!

well i decided to go up today not really expectinbg him to have it complete but operhaps nearly done you know. well no one was there, so i asked the garage next to him, they said he has just gone to spain for a week thismorning! imean comon! im well pissed off now i have to wait about another 2 weeks just to get it back,this is nearly 2monthsnow! i have gave him 150 out of 500, but im in 2 minds when he has completed it to just give him 250 and do the "ill drop the other 100 in tomorow Job"!

i just want my damn car back, imean after saying yer it will be done etc and then going to spain without calling or anything is ridiculous! i mean i used to work in a small body shop and iknow there is a certain amount of bull**** you give a customer, but this is just plain bad!

First off, have it out with him when he comes back, and yes.......withold £100, give it him in a month
The law is clear: he has NO right to try and hang on to your car in lieu of payment.

Jamie, Has the car been fixed?, If not my son has a workshop/Bodyshop in Ampthill, If it's not been fixed, get it back and get my son to look at it, whereabouts is this clown, I'm in Flitwick BTW, Craig does a lot of bodywork for the BABS crew.

he is in caddington near luton, yer the car has been fixed about 35% it has filler and has been rubbed down, just gutted i have to wait about 2 weeks now for him to get it finished 1 week for him to enjoy his well earnt holiday while i sit here bored ****less with a diesel works van, another week for him to finish it off! i think i will hold back the 100 and givei t to him in a month,it is only fair!

Has he said why he's taken that long to do the job? I put my scoob into the body shop to have the bumper painted fitted, the wings re painted and blended in, and two patches of rust on the roof sorted and had it back within 4 days.

i didnt mention that the rear quarter was scrapped to **** down the side needed bashing out and repairing and both the arches had holes in and rust from a shoddy repair before hand anyways hes back tomorow so im gunna go up and so whats going on!!!
