Before you commit to buying parts, do your research, because buying one part generally means you will need others to work in compliment or a mapping session to make sure your Turbo is safe on your car
Why are you buying a new turbo and what sort of power are you looking to gain ???.Do you have any other supporting mods ,are you planning on a remap or just bolting it on .There is no such thing as the best turbo, as they all have different power limits and characteristics. Try and be a bit more specific in what you are after and plenty of replies will follow hopefully.
If you want 350bhp on a 1995 wrx then be prepared for a replacement gearbox at some point as you'll be running a 752. I'm not saying it'll blow up, but theyre not known for being the strongest box once over 300bhp. You'll also need an uprated clutch to hold that sort of power.
As you've not listed any current mods we'll assume its standard so for that sort of power you'll be looking at a VF34 or 35 Turbo, Walbro pump, induction kit or panel filter, full decat exhaust, harvey headers/up pipe, front mounted intercooler and a remap (or aftermarket ecu).
Always sounds easy to throw a number into the pot but when it comes to the reality and cost then most people start getting a bit more realistic.
Hope you've got deep pockets!

You will be lucky to push a vf28 to 350bhp, mine is at 330, with good supporting mods and it's not to far from it's limit. You maybe better off with a vf34/35, but 350 bhp through a 16 yr old gearbox - I think there will only be one winner imho.

ive offered the op my vf24 which could be a good option,it produced 319 bhp on 97 ron.
should get to 330 or a bit more with right mods and v power.
it certainly spools quick.
would this not fit his car?

What engine? Standard EJ20 WRX lump?
I'd start putting up details mate coz you're asking for help/advice and people are playing guessing games. You posted up a thread before about what mods to do and the same thing happened.
So, its up to you
Engine type?
Any mods done already?
Uprated clutch?
Remap?
Or is it completely standard?

It would fit his car but he would have to mod his inlet, as yours is a front entry ,and his is top entry. Vf24 is a quick spooking turbo ,with good midrange to .
thanks for that, wouldnt want to sell someone something that dosent fit.
No ,it will fit ,just needs a slight modification, the op will be in the same boat if he decides to use any of the vf range of turbos as most are front entry iirc, whereas the td05 he currently has can be mapped and can produce 340 bhp with some good supporting mods and a remap. Infact due to being a sleeve bearing turbo lots of newer cars are opting for the td05as an upgrade ,just having the snorkel cut off and a front piece ali - welded on.
