Default Bonnet lift

Pass a white classic daily, with the back of the bonnet raised up 50mm-ish
seen a few like this, why?

As far as I'm aware its to aid cooling, not sure how effective it is though!!

i can see it working for track cars etc,but for road cars,not really, i mean, for one,it looks ****e and 2 it looks ****e

have to agree, just looks like its not shut properly
i thought maybe some large mod meant it wouldnt shut
