Actually, mine was a serious post (incredible, I know..... ) cos I didn't know what the question meant...

Gordon, I think you meant don't listen to Pete Lewis, not Dave.....

As I have gold wheels (shut up Lewis, 2.5 months of your silence to go) on a DBM IMHO gold letters would be OK.

rnr, you need to know the history of Pete Lewis to understand what is going on here. He hates gold wheels. If I go on to say he is a deranged lunatic and only allowed out weekends, plus owns a trailer tent, you will begin to understand....

He has a three month self imposed silence on gold wheels due to us sponsoring him for Comic Relief, but that should be extended to ANYTHING gold.

So, SHUT UP ABOUT ANYTHING GOLD PETE

Rich

If you live in Scotland (which I do) then I can help. There's a guy in Troon who does it and it's not expensive. I've had it done before on my MY'99 DMB Turbo and I'm hoping to do it on my Terzo soon.

Don't listen to Dave as I think it's an individual thing - why do people put different alloys/body kits etc, etc, etc? They want to be different obviously and also Gold lettering looks superb on blue cars .

Sorry Dave - got the wrong person. Pete, shame on you - Gold is the way to go!(So long as you don't go overboard)

mr -I'll give you the details as soon as I can - I think his company is called NovaTechnics. He's based in Troon, it's just that I've lost his phone number! Yes, they are standard Subaru lettering. He actually does his gold plateing whilst the letterings' still on your car.

Could you not just take them off - spray them - then reapply???

Just a thought
