Wink

Hi guys and gals,
In line with a few other people I want to buy me self a better car. I've read with interest the other post on a Scoob for 6 to 10K and I'm in the same boat (ish). Running costs are not really a consideration for buying a Scoob or similar - rather I am just about to move house and can do without a huge loan - hence a WRX or similar for 6 to 8K is not too bad (quite used to only getting 200 - 250 miles from 60 liters of LRP!)
Is it possible to get a decent WRX, STI, RA or even a UK car with about 60K miles for less than £8K privatly? Just by way of info -Beechdales at Derby rang me offering a 1995 UK spec car with approx 65K miles and after taking OFF the turbo timer and decent exhaust they wanted neigh on £11K - taking the p**s or what??
The other car that floats my boat is a Celica GT4 - can pick up a decent Carlos Sainz version for £5500. Any one had one - what do you think as an alternative to a Scoob?? Don't flame me too much
Matt.
