Default Sad day (kind of)

My 10 years of happy scooby ownership has come to an end today when I waved goodbye to my Spec C...

However should be picking up my Elise 111S very soon, so not all bad...

All the best
Simon

Worst mistake I ever made in buying selling cars was getting rid of my white Hawkeye Litchfield Spec C!

I would love a quid for every time I heard a Scooby owner regret selling his car for something else.

Novelty of the new car wears off then they realise something is missing.

Thanks for the positives, for the others, I don't think I'll regret it at all, it was time for a change....

Agreed the VXR is the best best, but you should be comparing it agains an exige price wise.

The VXT is a capable car, but has issues, suspension mainly, they can be sorted, but then you may as well have the VXR for the cost.

The 111s is one of the best if not best all rounds in this area. The elise/VX is not all about power, may as well have scooby if that's all you want, I could out run an exigeS on a donington in my 111s as it was set-up properly and I knew how to drive it.

Picked it up today and very, very happy!! IMHO Lotus v Vauxhall, no contest... it may be very superficial of me but it's all down the badge where they are concerned (flame suit on).

Will post some pics when I get chance, see "My Garage" link in the meantime....

Honda type r conversion transforms these cars into supercar beaters , a good friend has a supercharged type r engine fitted that's not long been chargecooled and had cams fitted . Pushing just shy of 400 bhp courtesy of Maidstones sports cars in Kent . It sounds phenomenal .
