Default What skooby have i got

Hi iv just got a impreza to track day, its a good spec 2 door
the number is GC8G2ED i was told its a type r but its not got dccd its got sti engine in it ,is it a lower spec sti v6 and not a type r ?

The type R bit is easy.........if it only has 2 doors then it's a type R (based on the 2 door Retna bodyshell)..

Just off to SIDC site for Applied model code..

Are you sure its GC8G2ED & not GC8G2FD ?

If its two door its a Type R, The nearest to the number is a WRx Sti TypeR V6 V-Ltd

Is the applied model code ? GC8G27D

Is it a non-metallic dark blue colour? does it have a roof vent ?

no its not that 1 , it looks like that but prodrive 18' and 6pot Ap's ect ect etc

no its got AP 6 pots 365mm on the front and AP 4 pots on back , that chap i got it of spent over 10k on it, so i thought it would make a good track toy as it set up to race, iv put a full cage in it now and il do some track time this month and see how it is , iv sold my Group A rwd cosworth and though i would try 4wd jap hehe
