Default Turbo-upipe

Hey all,

Ive managed to aquire a bargin RCM up-pipe to compliment my new Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust.

I juat wondered how people how effective this mod has been as i have been told there is a cat in this part of the exhuast? And will i need to get it re-mapped once its fitted?

Many thanks!!

The up pipe in the WRX does have a cat in it, Subaru fitted it to restrict power so as not to steal potential STI customers .
Fitting a decatted one will improve spool up, particularly if its matched to a bigger turbo likes Harveys up pipe . Bob

As above, just remember to ask the mapper to map out the missing EGT sensor which you have on the bug WRX LOL

The up-pipe has a thread for the sensor so that should be ok! Will i need it mapped though?

Thanks!
