Not long purchased my first scooby - 2005 wrx blobeye uk version, car came with private plate - " m7 *** " the plates on the car although having the Halfords name / postcode on them look as if they have been cut down in size ( would not imagine Halfords selling them this size ?? ) the size off the lplates are 14" x 4.5, legal font and the spacing between the letters and edge of plate is around 8mm all round.

any ideas if this is legal given shortish number ??

Halfords do sell a shorter plate for private regs with fewer digits, I had one made up the other day and saw this option. Maybe it's that?
