Default Prototype P1 For Sale

Never thought I'd see the day that the Prototype P1 would be up for sale. Not a bad spec either considering the rarity and price of it.

Thanks

Its an excellent looking car, was interested in it a few month back but the owner wasn't sure he wanted to sell so I've bought something else.

Hope someone takes good care of it.

It's a unique P1 though and being the white prototype I think it's worth the cash.

If I was after a P1 that's the best one to have because it's the first and the only white one! It may have had a hard life but that's nothing that can't be freshened up

It's worth what someone will pay and because of what it is I'd pay it

I don't like P1's on 17"s and the majority of them seem to be rough judging by when my mate AndyC772 was looking for one

no, the prototype is basicly a tweeked Type R, so has the double din from type r.

tbh too steep for what it is price wise.

love this car, imho it is a piece of our marques history and we should respect that.

I wish I had bought it when the chance came up years back

might be worth asking Prodrive if they want it back for the Heritage Museum................

I know the chances are it's been ragged to hell by journalists in the past, but let's be honest, unless you buy a car new then you never really know what's happened to you car in the past.

I'd love to own that, it's special, unique and just looks fantastic!

I know this car because i used to own it and to be honest it was the only Impreza i have had that hasnt had an engine problem! The only thing that went wrong with in the time i owned it was nothing to do with the car being abused or ragged it was down to a light fingered gitbag who stole the original gurney flap off the top of the rear spoiler within a week of me getting the car! This was replaced by Mike Wood with the production car P1 carbon insert as the gurney flap it had on was the only one in existance.
I have had 7 Impreza's over the years ranging from the classic to my current hatch and every single one of them has had an engine replaced EXCEPT this one, even my WR1 had piston slap and was replaced (maybe im just unlucky)
Before anyone starts NO I DONT DRIVE MY CARS HARD FROM COLD AND YES THEY ARE ALWAYS WARMED UP AND DOWN AND RUN ON SUPER UNLEADED AND SERVICED AT 3500 OR 6 MONTHS!. I do drive them as they are supposed to be driven at the end of the day we dont buy cars like these to do just the scholl run in do we. Tony Walls T5NYW will confirm i look after my cars before you start slating my driving style.
I say good luck with the sale.

It's based on a white JDM Type R so would have the DD head unit and different heater controls.

If it was left original then yes, modded to much for my tastes.

But hey, still abit of history.

This is a car I'd love to own.

Waking up & looking on the driveway & realising it's one of a kind.

To expensive for me I'm afraid.

It is Mate, sold to another enthusiast who will look after it like i didwhich was important to me.

I did,nt want to comment on here till the car had sold because it would have looked like another one of those i,ve got my mate to point out my cars for sale threads,i honestly dont know the guy who posted the thread originally, but thanks anyway

I really dont understand this website at all,to say its meant to be a site for people who love Subaru,s,WHY are you all trying to de-value everyones cars?Do you not realise the knock on effect?I.E,nice car for sale at £5k,i,ll say its only worth £3k therefore knocking it down £2k,buy it for £3k,keep it 6 months, try to sell it on here, some other C**k says its worth £2k less so your £5k car is now worth £1k,do you see where i,m going here???its not rocket science.

On a lighter note,if you have a proper nice car,it will be worth what you want for it,its just finding the right buyer,i.e someone who appreciates a proper car,in my humble opinion, all those pants cars out there will be gone soon, hopefully to the scrapyard where they belong and only the good scoobs will be left, and thats when the prices will go up and you,ll get the right price for your car,in the meantime,i think i,ll change brands and come back once Scoobynet members have got the holy grail 22B down to £4k,then i,ll come back, because by that time it will be a proper enthusiast forum with 100 members with really nice valuable cars and not 17 million members trying to steal each others money, your fools to yourselves, all in my opinion of course, like i give a monkeys.

Just to add, thanks very much to the real Subaru enthusiasts who gave a positive opinion, and FRO to the doubters,i hope you get £50 when you sell your car.

P.S,top quality fuel line clamp from ebay for sale, extra 50bhp the guy from China said,£500 ONO.

Oh yeah, because type-R ends in R really does,nt make it betteR
Thought for the day

Regards and out

Me.

You have just hit the nail on the head fella, all the die hard old school scooby owners moan and slate off all these chav's that are buying up classic's but TBH they have only got themselfs to blame for letting impreza's drop in price so much, if everyone stood together and did'nt let them go for stupid prices they might be worth a bit more today, you don't see the cossy boy's letting their escorts go for 2k
