Loving the wording of the pistonheads ad; "she has owned it for 4 1/5 years" So she's had it for four full years and one fifth of a year?!?! made me lol anyway!! This ones slightly above budget but pretty sweet:

It was sold via pistonheads... to me!!

That ones worth a punt, £800 to remove the awful blacked out windows.
*Chav flipping camera off not included in sale.

With the amount being scrapped / broken for bits the numbers of them will be dropping pretty quick! Preface lifts must be getting rare

Fuel
Insurance
Rust
Head Gaskets/Bottom Ends
General ageing of parts
Low demand for them in the market
They're at the stage of throw away cars now. If someone pays £1500 for one and even if it just pops a head gasket, realistically its going to be broken up.
Yeah, just try finding a nice pre-facelift. Reckon I could count the number for sale on a hand or two in the whole country. Changed days.

Im in the same situation guys.
Trying to decide if a classic type R will be worth anything a few years down the line, with rising costs of running these cars.....will they really be worth anything at all????
