Most of the makes have the grooves going that direction, K sport seem to have there's going the other way.
But as said it doesn't really matter so long as the ones on the inside of the disc (the bits that the hold the two half's of discs together) are going the right directio.,
But saying that, some discs don't have curved internal vain's though!!!! they just come straight out

Thats the correct way. (I have them on my car )
If Mr Godney says its that way then its that way
Rule of thumb is the grooves bend towards (point) the rear of the car at the top of the disc. (except for K-sport which seem to be fitted backwards!!)

Hi Ian!
I have tried calling you buddy but i do realise it is late in the day. Anyway, unfortunatly i sent them to you along with my calipers (entirely my fault mate), as i wasnt sure exactly whether you would need them to clean up or not see??...
and as its saturday and i wasnt expecting to speak to you till next week - i thought i would try and source them from elsewhere!
Other than me being a thicko bud - loving the calipers and new discs etc, they look great on the side in my shed!he he

My first post was meant to read :
As above, check the venting between the 2 plates, if they are going in the opposite direction as the grooves then they are marked up INcorrectly.
Deano.

Uuuppps.... I thought it doesn't matter how you're gonna fit them ? I'll have to go and check on the car how I fitted mines. TBH I was wondering what N/S and O/S mean but never checked. So how can I say which one should be fitted on driver side ?

N/S = Near side. (Nearest to the curb/passenger side)
O/S = Of side. (Drivers side)
The vents in the that hold the 2 plates together in the middle of the disc should be sloping away from the front of the car at the outer edge of the disc, so if you are traveling in > direction the vents should look something like ))). Bit hard to explain but hope it sheds a bit of light lol.

I think the vents (in between the 2 discs) on the godspeed ones go straight up though bud, so as above post -
N/S...
O/S etc

As you look at the disc square on, on the hub, the front of the car facing > way, at the top of the disc the vents should be looking like ))). At the bottom of the disc they will obviously be looking like (((
Got there in the end!!

I found the picture I took when fitting. Drivers side. So, All good :-) TBH the reason why I fitted them this way, was that it visually looked good.

Because the grooves need to be facing the right way to work correctly and allow the centrifugal force of the wheel turning to disperse the brake dust/gasses to the edge of the disc and away.

Deano,
I don't get you mate, once you're saying that if vents are going straight, it doesn't matter how you're gonna fit them and another time you're explaining what's the correct way of fitting ?

Sorry bud, my mistake...Its been a long day!! .
I see what you mean now. If straight vents but no grooves then they can go on either side but if they are straight vents and grooved then they should be put on as above.

To The orignal Poster,i see you are fitting the original rear calipers, just be careful with fast speed braking,on this setup i had (4 pots up front, single pot sliding rear caliper) i had quite bad rear end wanting to overtake me as the 4 pots were making braking up front good, the rears couldnt cope, i then changed to the 2 pots on the rear, what a difference !
