Is this right or not?
I've been told that my uk impreza can run on standard unleaded. But to my surprise i found this sticker on the inside of the fuel flap.
It says unleaded super gasoline only? Is this normal?

GASOLINE? This is not the USA!

Ignore it, its not the correct sticker (quite common). We have 'Petroleum' in the UK. American "Super unleaded Gasoline" is usually a different octane to "Super Unleaded Petroleum" so the sticker is useless as it doesn't specifically say what RON octane is required.
Look on the back cover of the owner's manual. It will give you the minimum octane rating in RON. The only time that will not apply is if the car has a PPP fitted or it is modified.
My old UK my97 said 95Ron, and thats all it ran on, and still does by its present owner.

Anyway back to point, will check back of manual thanks, just checking its not had some kind of performance upgrade or anything. Abit confussed why has a usa sticker on a uk car weird.
Unleaded super is not the same as super unleaded.
Standard UK cars like the Turbo 2000 and WRX are fine on 95RON despite what you will read on here unless they have been modded or remapped for the higher octane fuel.
