Default Veilside Interior

Looking for some advice.

I bought a tasty looking & sounding '97 Impreza Turbo. Bought it for trackday laffs rather than a daily driver (can't afford to fuel the thirsty beast!)

I'm looking to put in a cage & harnesses, so will be taking the interior out.

Only thing is, I'm on a tight budget & looking to fund the cage and a few upgrades by selling off some of the nice stuff. It's got a full, black Veilside custom leather interior in near enough perfect condition. Before I pay for advertising, I wondered if anyone had an idea of how much a fitted cage, front buckets and harness would cost & how much you reckon I'd get for the interior. There's also a Veilside spoiler and side skirts but I think I'll keep them on.

Cheers guys.

Not yet but I'll get some and post them over the next day or two (when it's not tipping it down!)

Very nice looking seats, do they tilt for use in a 2dr car?

Thanks - nope, they're recliners but don't tilt.

Have either of you any ideas on what I could get for the whole lot (there's the four door cards, front and rear seats and the centre console storage box lid/arm rest is also leather, with "Veilside" embroidered on it)? I've not seen anyone selling anything close enough to get an idea. Condition is generally excellent. A few minor marks and a bit of scuffing on the drivers outer seat bolster but that's it.

Difficult one to price, I'd guess about 400-500 but it's just what someone is willing to pay at the end of the day

Yea if it was a standard set i'd prob say between 100 and 250 depending on condition, but not sure for those 400-500 sounds kind of area. Try 500 see if any interest if not then you can always drop price. You could even start abit higher.

Thanks mate

I take your point.

I suppose the answer is that I can't say for definite. The garage I bought the car from sold it as having a Veilside, custom leather interior (and bodykit, including the CF bonnet scoop). People I've spoken to and research online backs up the bodykit. I've not tried to find out about the authenticity of the interior. As you said, it has the embroidered centre console lid and there's an embroidered, velcro badge on one or both front door cards too. I think there was paperwork/receipts indicating it was as stated but I can't find ANY of the paperwork now (two house moves later). It seems plausble to me but I don't know anything about the Evo5's seats.

What I can say is that the quality is unlike any leather interior I've seen on anything else. Some of the custom jobs I've seen are a bit ropey.

Cheers mate.

Just need to get sorted for selling it. Will be sorry to see it go but low funds mean it's that or give up on the hooning around Knockhill!
