Hey everyone, at the moment i have some Lexus rear lights fitted to my classic scooby as i have crystal clear lights at the front, and thought the standard rear lights look out of place.

A few of my mates told me i should go for the Sti rear lights instead, i'm not sure what to do, any ideas, maybe theres some lights that i don't know about. Heres 2 examples, neither one is mine, can't be assed go outside take a pic

 

I like Lexus lights on silver cars but I feel Evo's and Scoobs should retain their standard rear lights. Mods that suits Scoobs are those that hint at rally.

Mine looks abit like type r at top apart from redlish blue, sometimes i look at lights think nice, other times think look abit chav.

 

Lexus lights are lame. As said they are now behind the times and look very Chav!

 

Yeah those Lexus lights go great with a chav-valve.

what do u think of the subaru impreza after burner rear lights ? i use to have some on my scooby they looked pretty nice in my opinion

I'd have standard lights over Lexarse or Afterburner personally.

Both mine and the wifees car have STi lights on them.

 

All down to personally taste but i agree with you on lexus lights there a no go zone ! they belong in a scrap yard

As for the projector rear lights they don't go will the car, nothing on the car is black, its blue and all the lights are crystal clear has a nice crisp look about it, the lexus lights suit it but look abit over the top, boy racer which i don't like

I would go for the STi rear clusters. they look a lot better.

Think the Lexus style clusters are still "Max Power" and you still see them on Saxo's and Clio's.

Its your choice tho, so if you want something different then go for it.

I recently sold my lexarse lights, some guy was silly enough to give me £45 for them!

 

I had these late last year second set for me removed and sold on over priced.



Personally prefer standered lights



came standered on my old type r



And changed to these



Its your choice mate as mentioned do what you want !
