Default dp for classic

i have just aquired a decat dp for my v1-2 classic, at the top it has a hole for a sensor/bung?
is this for the cat on fire sensor or is there another one i cant see.

Sounds to me like its a v5/6 downpipe, they have a threaded port on the passenger side of the bellmouth for the Lambda sensor.

AFAIK, your lambda should be at the opposite end of the pipe, meaning you either need to extend the Lambda lead and run it to the back of your newly acquired downpipe and plug the one at the bellmouth.

Or, you can ditch the new pipe in favour of one for a v1/2.

think its all sorted now. the v1-2 lambda is in the manifold somewhere, all i need is a bung which is now aquired from my local factors for the bargain of 1.91inc not the 9 quid ive seen elsewhere.
the cat on fire sensor can be removed completely going by other threads.
